Apple expands suppliers ahead of iPhone 14 launch– To prevent launch delays, Apple has diversified its supplier base for the iPhone 14 series, which is expected to be unveiled in September. Additionally, GSM Arena says that the move reduces its dependence on a single supplier and gives it a negotiating position.
Apple has also added more suppliers to its list ahead of the iPhone 14’s release because SG Micro passed quality inspections for the more expensive models. According to renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, SG Micro would likely supply the PMICs for iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
